Schizophrenia: 

The disease is found in every country in the world and affects about one in a hundred people. The patient behaves like a lunatic. Schizophrenia is a complex disease that has devastating effects on the lives of the affected person and their family members. Schizophrenia is a disorder in which the patient's thoughts, emotions, behavior and perception are disturbed. The incidence is low but the prevalence is high.  In this condition, the patient hears different sounds. The patient keeps thinking wrong. When people are talking to each other, the patient thinks that they are talking about it. The patient does not understand the surrounding events and always misinterprets them, the patient loses the ability to think and understand and does not speak properly, one sentence and then immediately after  The second sentence speaks which has nothing to do with the first sentence, nothing is understood what he is saying.


Symptoms of Schizophrenia:

Delusions:

1; The delusions of greatness:

In this, the patient has unrealistic and strange beliefs, considers himself superior to others, considers himself the Prime Minister of the country, the patient thinks that he is the son of a head of the country.

2; The delusions of oppression: 

In this case, the patient feels himself oppressed. The patient thinks that he is being oppressed, but this is not the case. For example, seeing some people together, the patient thinks that these people are coming to kill him.

Hallucinations:

Incidents that have nothing to do with reality but the patient understands them as reality, as the patient hears different voices and sees dead people, many patients have deception to hear, the patient speaks for the dead man  He has spoken to me.

Disorganized Speech:

If the patient is asked a question, he does not give the correct answer, and when speaking, he uses words and phrases that no one understands.

Behavioral problems:

The patient's attitude is different from that of a normal person. The patient is enthusiastic and does not keep himself clean and uses inappropriate clothing, such as wearing a suit in the heat.


Types of schizophrenia:


Disorganized:  

In disorganized  type of schizophrenia the patient has a different personality. The patient does not act like a lunatic but lives a life of isolation from people of all ages. Does not express emotions.  It's like laughing stupidly at the wrong time.

Catatonic:  

Catatonic type schizophrenia affects people between the ages of 25 and 30. The patient stays in bed for several days without any movement and does not talk to anyone.

Undifferentiated:  

The patient's condition worsens and several symptoms occur simultaneously. Cannot control stool and urine. The patient hears different sounds and believes in untruths. This includes patients with severe symptoms of schizophrenia but who do not meet the criteria for Paranoid, Disorganized or Catatonic types.

Paranoid:

This type of patient is isolated from the real world and he suffers from delusions. The patient is more convinced that people are against him and are following him. The patient hears sounds that are threatening him and patient considers himself a very important person. People are jealous of him and want to destroy him because of jealousy. The patient often thinks that he is the head of the country.

Residual:

Patients who have had schizophrenia at least once but do not show any major symptoms after being diagnosed may show residual symptoms such as negative beliefs or they may have abnormal thoughts which are the remaining symptoms.  Social evacuation can include the effects of strange thoughts and inactivity.



Schizophrenia and their  Homeopathic treatment :


1. Anacardium:

This medicine is very useful for the patient of delusion. The patient thinks that someone is following him while walking along the path.  The patient also has to listen to unseen voices.
